This project was among the first large grid connected projects on JEPCO’s network pursuant to the Electricity Regulatory Commission’s regulations for net metering. The 101 module system comprised of Trina modules and SMA tri-power investors, and provided a saving of some 20-30% of the customer’s electricity bill, and a payback period of six years. The system incorporated the Tigo Optimizers allowing for module level monitoring and troubleshooting.
