Ala Qubain, CEO
Dr. Ala Qubain leads the Mustakbal team’s sales and engineering activities. A doctor of Aeronautical Engineering (Imperial College) and a graduate of Northwestern University with a BS in Electrical Engineering, he has an acute attention to detail and engineering excellence. Prior to founding Mustakbal he was responsible for developing and successfully commercializing a part for Ferrari’s 599XXGT in 2009. Since then Ala has dedicated his efforts to the solar industry, and developing Mustakbal’s product offering in solar PV, concentrated solar power, and solar steam with reputable international partners.
 
Shukri Halaby, COO
Shukri Halaby leads Mustakbal’s operations, project management activities and project development efforts, and has over 15 years’ experience in the engineering industry.  He has spent the last four years consulting for a leading solar company, and was responsible for leading feasibility studies, proposals and project execution support for several large scale solar thermal and PV projects in the region.  Shukri is intimately familiar with the engineering industry having worked with Fluor Corporation for the six years after his graduation from Northwestern University in 1997.
 
Rand Alzubi, Design and Supervision Engineer
Rand Alzubi supports Mustakbal in conducting feasibility studies, project design, cost estimation, installation and supervision for solar thermal, photovoltaic, concentrated solar, solar cooling and energy efficiency projects. Prior to joining Mustakbal in 2012, Rand gained experience at several Jordanian and international companies and research institutions, including the Fraunhofer and the European Distributed Energy Resources Lab in Germany, as well as Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company in Jordan. Rand holds an M.S. in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, from the Cairo University and Kassel University (2010-2012) and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, from Jordanian University (2004-2009). Rand is a member of the Jordanian Engineers Association, since 2009, and member of the Jordanian Renewable Energy Society “JRES”, since 2009.
